Title: BFG ordnance dimensions?
Post by: Malika on September 09, 2013, 11:43:32 AM
Hi,

So I've been working on designing my own ships as potential alternatives for BFG. But I'd need ordnance as well. I'm planning on making some boarding pods (kinda akin to the Chaos Dreadclaw in scale), torpedos, fighters and bombers. However, I have no clue how big they should be. Does anybody have the dimensions for these models?

Thank you!

The ordnance models are kinda out of scale and are still very small. :)

An Imperial asault boat is at the most 8mm in length en 2mm wide.

You think I can get away with 1cm long torpedos?

Strictly speaking, as long as the base is the correct size, you can stick anything you want on there. If you didn't mind the overhead, you could use a real torpedo... Though whether you'd want to is another matter.

Those bases are 2cm x 2cm right?
