Hello WM forum!
OK, I dabble in Warmaster Fantasy. I have a Bretonnian Army painted and I am inactively working on Vampire Counts, Lizardmen, and have a pile of Chaos in waiting. (Sorry, not much call for Warmaster in my parts.) But enough about me...
My question: Is discussion of porting the Warmaster Fantasy armies into the Warmaster Ancients rules allowed? I know that WMA was born from WMF, and that there is a seperate WMA forum, but I would like to see the Fantasy armies expressed in the Ancients terms with the magic rules added in. It might help me get more support for Warmaster in my area.
And then there's my other oddball idea: expand the ancients armies, just a little, to add magic users and monsters as appropriate to the lore and legend of the armies in question. Go ahead and call me crazy (everyone else does) but I thought it would be neat to have Roman Legions fighting High Elves, or Ancient Egyptians taking on Orcs and Goblins, yet have the two armies involved be rather equal in what they can take. Call it Warmaster Fantasy Ancients (WMFA).
So, what can I talk about and get away with here? Should I take this to another forum or will I know my answer when I discover this post deleted?
