Greetings everyone,
This is my rather mundane attempt at a chaos battleship. I stuck with the usual colours as I rather like the idea of boarding actions with marks of Khorne.

That's a good looking ship. I really like the glowing blue effect of the engines- can I ask what colours you used?
Do you have plans to do more to the base?
-
Thanks. The base still needs some attention, a name and some shiny bits.
As for the engines, I use a mixture of enchanted blue and ice blue. I used to use ultramarines blue and ice blue mixes but I've decided those produce to much of a pastel shade for lighting effects (for my taste at least)

Can you post a rare view pic? I want to see how you did those exhausts

Mazila,
Not the best photograph - my macro lens is back home and there is only so much that can be done with a 85mm lens...
Anyway, I hope this give you an idea of what's going on. I wasn't too concerned about the quality at the deepest recesses as it's only meant for the tabletop

To deal with the lighter shades I used a large amount of very watery paint and dabbed that at the far end. Invert and let gravity do its thing. You can fill in the rest once that has dried.
Cheers.
