Title: Mongols for WMM - any suggestions
Post by: Swordmaster on October 29, 2010, 03:32:14 PM
Greetings!

I am considering starting Mongol army for WMM. Not exactly in the near future but just want to start creating an army list so that I know what to buy eventually. However, I have a feeling that a mounted and shooty army might not be efficient in WMM environment. Hence I would like to ask if any of you have some experience in playing with or against them (or any similar army). I am going to try it anyway, as it is unique on it's own but would greatly help me to plan my future buys.

If you have any advice/suggestions for army composition for 1000/1500 points and the way this army should be played I would be very grateful.

Thank you in advance! :)

In WMF I would suggest you use it to proxy a Kislev army ....

Not ever play with a nomadic historic army... but god knows how I would like it :)

If you make such approach, please share your impresion with us. I could imagine how it works... but if I learned something about warmaster is that, in the end you need to play or test it, because imagination and stadistical have little to do with a great game like GM, so I do not want to start getting "noise" in the chat, and let talk to the people who really play with it.
